The public beach is just down the road; there are plenty of boat rentals nearby to rent a boat for the day and enjoy the water! It is only 30 minutes from Boyne Mountain ski resort and right down the road from Northern Michigan's renowned snowmobile trails!

This cottage is a three bedroom, two bath home and is fully equipped with new furniture. The two downstairs bedrooms have a king and queen sized bed, while the upstairs loft includes two twins. The sofa in the living room is a pull-out queen sized bed. Wi-fi is included along with a Roku.

Whether you are planning an amazing summer getaway, snowmobile trip or hitting the ski slopes, this home has everything you are looking for. You are only 15 minutes from beautiful downtown Petoskey or Boyne City; this home is centrally located.

  We really enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed, was comfortable, spacious, and accommodating. Management is very responsive and helpful. The location can't be beat. We were close to the foot and close to the lake. There was easy access to the path. This home is a charmer!

  I grew up going to my parents cabin near the village of Walloon and could not believe how beautiful the downtown looks. The lake is as spectacular as I remembered. The cottage was in a perfect location, a ten minute stroll got you to town for lunch at the barrel back, an ice cream or groceries at the general store. The cabin was very nice and had all the essentials. The only issues we had was the bathtub was constantly dripping, the garbage disposal didn’t work and the electric outlet by the coffee pot only worked off and on. Nothing that we couldn’t adapt to just thought the management company would want to know to address.

  As I have said on other reviews, the property was not clean. Arrived on Friday and it was Monday before anyone from the management company got back to me. I would think that renting properties includes weekend work.

  Very nice home well equipped in excellent location. Manager was friendly efficient and easy to deal with. Home was clean but carpet could use shampooing and sinks and tub scouring. There was food in cupboards we threw away that expired two years ago. Overall this is a very nice home and we enjoyed our stay. Gathering places are roomy and comfortable. Furnishings are very nice and beds are great! Upstairs room could use top sheets as it was hot with just a comforter. Please warn others about deep storm drain near where you back out as we accidentally went through it. We enjoyed the house and would stay there again. Recommended.

  This rental was nestled into a perfet little street just off Walloon Lake for our Memorial Weekend stay. The living areas were very spacious, clean, and well organized and equiped. We were able to check in early with the help of the property manager Megan - she was helpful and prompt with her responses. Wonderufl cottage for warm and cold months.

  This super cozy and clean cottage was perfect for our getaway. It was close to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and Boyne. The kitchen and home overall was well stocked with supplies you may need daily or items to make a meal. We would certainly stay here again!

  We stayed at the Cozy Walloon Village Home for 5 nights in June. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, hand soap, toilet paper, Kleenex. We could walk down to the shops and restaurants in the Village within 10 minutes. There was access to a hiking trail along the lake at the end of our street. The house had more than enough room for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. We would definitely return to this rental for another stay.

  We are a family of five and this cabin was perfect for us. We were in walking distance to the main village and marina. The cabin was very clean and up to date. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms were nice. Would definitely recommend. Only issue we had was the lock for the property. It was a little tricky to work. We called Kidd and Leavy and they were extremely helpful with walking us though how to use it. Great place!

  We had 5 people and had more than enough space in the home. On Saturday night, the outside temps got close to 0 degrees F and we stayed nice and warm inside.
  
  Probably the best part was being 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain.
  
  Walloon Lake Village had a great restaurant and was just 2 minutes away by car (would be a great walk in the summer). Great stop after skiing all day.
  
  We also appreciated the complimentary scones. Made for a great breakfast.
  
  We would stay here again - super fun time!!!
